Event Description
This is Where Community Grows! NRPA, the Dallas Park and Recreation Department, and the National Recreation & Park Ethnic Minority Society are pleased to offer this pre-conference Day of Service event.
We invite you to be part of our exciting tree planting initiative at Lake Cliff Park. On Monday, October 9th, from 1pm to 3pm, join us as we plant 150 beautiful trees at one of our prime locations. Certified arborists will be on hand for questions. Volunteers participating in the project should be prepared for physical activity, including lifting 10 to 20 pounds, and dress comfortably in loose-fitted clothing. Please wear closed-toed shoes. Together, let’s create a greener environment and enjoy the fulfillment of making a positive impact on our community.
Please note that for safety reasons, anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Water and light refreshments will be served.
